Health, as defined by the World Health Organization, is an “uneven condition of the body with full ability to heal itself and restore health.” Numerous definitions have also been used over the years for different applications. Currently, health is often used to describe the concepts of well-being, preventive health, and medical quality. In these terms, health is considered to be a state that is characterized by favorable physical condition and emotional well-being and is achieved through a range of interventions designed to ensure health and the protection of the individual.
There are a number of important components involved in achieving optimal health issues. One important component is sleep, which is an essential component of good health. Adequate levels of sleep aid in reducing stress, tension, and anxiety, as well as promoting a general sense of well being.
